Of course I named the show after the great album by the Smittens and I pay homage to the band by using a clip of their song 11:11 for my theme. I hope the band doesn't mind, but when I have talked to various members of the band after shows they seem like nice people whom I think would be good with it.

I also use this name for my DJ night happening occasionally at the Jane Bond in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Note that the links to shows older than 6 months might not be working, if you really want those shows please send me an email and I can get them to you. (Note that prior to 2018 I called my podcast FireballXL5, so don't be confused if you look at an old setlist)

Special thanks to Jeff Woods for finding my a place to host my mp3s!

Theme: The Gig Theatre, Au Revoir Simone, Best of 2007, and Juno
On Air: Frank

There was a set of music that was bookended by a couple of bands that were playing The Gig Theatre that night and now that CKMS has wireless internet I was able to play songs directly from the Myspace pages of the local bands, that was pretty cool.

There was a set of music inspired by the band "Au Revoir Simone" whom I saw the week before this show in Toronto (Do you know where that name came from? Answer is after the setlist). I started this set with a cover they did for their encore by David Bowie, with the average age of the audience I'm sure that only about 3 people there recognized the song. Luckily, I was standing beside one of them (Derek). After playing Au Revoir Simone the rest of the set was just kind of low-fi stuff that reminded me of the show.

There was a set of music inspired by the movie Juno mostly stolen from this website:

There was a set of music inspired by the Best of 2007 lists that I got from everybody, Thanks to Mary, Derek, and Michael T.

The name Au Revoir Simone comes from the movie Pee Wee's Big Adventure:

Theme: Best of 2007
On Air: Frank

I was actually giddy with excitement as I was putting together the music for this show, I was excited about being able to play a selection of the great songs that I played over the year. The first part of the show featured my favourite singles of 2007 and the final 10 songs were from my top albums.

You can see all of my picks here:

I did my best to indicate on the setlist where I first heard about each song.
